The Ka'u Coffee Festival is a celebration of Ka'u Coffee - the farmers that grow it, their families and community; the unspoiled, rural culture of Ka'u; and, not least, the magnificent landscape in which Ka'u coffee thrives. The Ka'u Coffee Festival is a mix of fun and educational events for anyone who loves coffee.
Miss Ka’u Coffee Pageant - A community event for the young people of Ka'u: to showcase their talent, stimulate interest in sustainable agriculture and the coffee industry, and provide a year-long spokesperson for the Ka’u coffee industry. This year's Miss Ka'u Coffee is Brandy Shibuya.
Ka’u Coffee Ho’olaulea (Celebration) - Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Pahala Community Center. A free event that will include Ka’u coffee tasting, coffee educational displays and demonstrations, food, art & crafts vendors, entertainment, and kid’s corner.
Ka’u Coffee College - Sunday, May 13, 2012, at the Pahala Community Center. A day of workshops & sharing information for coffee farmers and other coffee-trade professionals.
